Description
During a cruise with the tourist ice breaker Le Commandant Charcot (LCC), CTD profiles were collected at 5 stations at the coast of East Greenland (65.6-70.5 N, 21.4-37.6 W). The profiles were collected between 10 and 22 May 2022 through holes in the fast ice (station 1-4) and through a hole in an ice floe (Station 5). For station 1-3 a Seabird CTD 911 was used, while the the data were collected with a RBR CTD at station 4 and 5. Note: Most sensors at both CTDs were factory calibrated, and the data in this data set are raw data from the CTDs. The fluorescence and PAR sensor were NOT calibrated and provide only relative data. Despite the low quality of the latter data, observations from East Greenland in spring are rare and they may provide important insights. Biological data (chlorophyll a, particulate organic carbon and nitrogen, and eDNA) are also available from station 1 (sampling depth 1, 15, 35 m) and station 2-3 (sampling depth 1, 15, 35, 90 m). Contact information and metadata for these data are available here (eDNA: https://ecotip-geo.iopan.pl/geonetwork/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/5130c62e-0a15-4804-a19c-a73746855ef2, the xlsx refers to the LCC data with cruise name Ingrid2022; Chl a, POC, PON, protists: https://ecotip-geo.iopan.pl/geonetwork/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/eba5dd2f-229b-413a-8c1a-d608ce876632). Those data will be made available after publication.
